This echoes Training Industry research, which found that:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>48% of learning leaders are focusing on the learner experience in the next 12-18 months.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>55% of learning leaders want improved learning platforms in 2024.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>46% of learning leaders say that digital transformation is a challenge their business is facing in 2024.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-110992\" src=\"https:\/\/trainingindustry.com\/content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/MA_ArticleCards_Q1_2024_Card_01-copy.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"940\" \/>\r\n\r\nHere are the deals we took note of, organized by market sector.\r\n<h2>Learning Technologies<\/h2>\r\nThe learning technologies segment of the market consistently sees ample activity. With Training Industry\u2019s pulse survey research (conducted in Q4 of 2023) indicating that 36% of learning professionals are spending more on learning technologies compared to the last three months, we expect investments in learning technologies to continue throughout this year.\r\n\r\nDeals in this market sector include:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>In early January, learning technology provider Learning Pool announced its acquisition of OnScreen, a digital adoption platform (DAP) company. OnScreen will enable Learning Pool customers to better support their employees as they learn new software and applications, the <a href=\"https:\/\/trainingindustry.com\/press-release\/learning-technologies\/learning-pool-enhances-technology-portfolio-with-acquisition-of-onscreen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">press release.<\/a><\/li>\r\n \t<li>Human resources (HR) solutions provider CIEL Group acquired a strategic stake in Courseplay, an international learning experience platform\u00ad\u00ad (LXP). According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/trainingindustry.com\/press-release\/learning-technologies\/ciel-group-acquires-strategic-stake-in-courseplay-plans-ipo-in-fy25\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">press release<\/a>, CIEL Group plans to go public in the Financial Year 2025.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>In its ninth acquisition to date, Cornerstone OnDemand Inc. <a href=\"https:\/\/trainingindustry.com\/press-release\/learning-technologies\/cornerstone-becomes-end-to-end-learning-content-solution-with-spatial-learning-acquisition\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced<\/a> the acquisition of extended reality capabilities and a team of highly specialized domain experts from Talespin, a spatial learning company focused on workforce skills development.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-110990\" src=\"https:\/\/trainingindustry.com\/content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/MA_ArticleCards_Q1_2024_Card_05.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"600\" \/>\r\n<h2>Content Development<\/h2>\r\nThe content development segment of the market saw two deals last quarter:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>MadCap Software, Inc., which specializes in technical content authoring, management and publishing, <a href=\"https:\/\/trainingindustry.com\/press-release\/content-development\/madcap-software-acquires-xyleme-to-expand-suite-of-intelligent-content-management-products\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced<\/a> the<a href=\"https:\/\/trainingindustry.com\/magazine\/spring-2024\/madcap-softwares-acquisition-of-xyleme-set-to-streamline-technical-documentation-and-course-development\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">acquisition of Xyleme, Inc.<\/a>, a learning content management system (LCMS) provider.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Skillshare, an online learning community for creatives, completed the <a href=\"https:\/\/trainingindustry.com\/press-release\/content-development\/skillshare-acquires-creator-tooling-start-up-superpeer-to-expand-its-suite-of-products-for-creatives\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">acquisition<\/a> of Superpeer\u2019s technology and key assets to expand its marketplace beyond on-demand classes to new services, content and products.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h2>Compliance Training<\/h2>\r\nThe compliance training sector of the market also saw two deals last quarter:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>360training, an online regulated training provider specializing in financial services education, <a href=\"https:\/\/trainingindustry.com\/press-release\/compliance\/360training-a-leader-in-regulated-financial-services-training-acquires-mortgage-educators-and-compliance-expanding-expertise-in-real-estate-and-mortgage-lending\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">acquired<\/a> Mortgage Educators and Compliance (MEC), a mortgage lending training company.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Skill Dynamics, a provider of role-based, specialized supply chain and procurement training, <a href=\"https:\/\/trainingindustry.com\/press-release\/compliance\/skill-dynamics-acquire-content-enablers-to-strengthen-position-in-corporate-elearning\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">acquired<\/a> Content Enablers, a compliance training company.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h2>Other Deals by Market Segment<\/h2>\r\n<strong>Leadership <\/strong>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Crucial Learning, a global communication, performance and leadership training provider, announced the acquisition of Core Strengths, a leader in corporate relationship intelligence and home of the Strength Deployment Inventory (SDI 2.0) assessment.
