It is generally used in small organizations where there is no need for a distributed set of resources across multiple lines of business or geographic locations.\r\n\r\nAn advantage of this model is it provides greater consistency in how training processes are managed across the enterprise. However, this model may be disadvantageous for larger organizations that have resources distributed across multiple lines of business or geographic areas. More specifically, organizations that demand content that is customized to individual business units, the standardization this model provides may not be suitable for their particular business needs.
