First responders, teachers, health care workers, care givers, grocery and retail workers, hospitality workers and restaurant workers are all considered front-line workers, because they work directly with people whether they\u2019re students, patients or customers. \u00a0Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, certain front-line workers were also referred to as \u201cessential workers,\u201d because their work was critical in meeting the demand for health care, education, safety and nutrition during the pandemic.\r\n\r\nRelated Content:\r\n
